Guide to Looms in the Shop

First, I need to clarify something - I don’t know any weaver who owns just one loom.

So when you’re choosing your first loom, don’t stress. When you fall in love with weaving you’re sure to be accumulating more.

Weaving ranges from simple to complex, and there are looms for every way we weave.

The looms in my shop are simple and portable.

I cut them on my laser machine, and sand and finish them by hand. Weaving tools are half the fun of weaving, and I want yours to feel wonderful in your hands.

I have five looms in my shop.

Each one is a simple flat loom, and they vary by size and other features.

This chart goes from the smallest loom to the largest, and shows you the unique characteristics of each loom.

If you're wondering what dent means, click here to watch my video on YouTube.

Download the chart as a pdf.

You can view the entire collection of looms here.

The Tiny Loom and Annie Loom are also sold as kits with yarn.

Looking for the best loom for kids?

I recommend the 5-dent Sheila loom for kids under ten years old.

There are mini yarn kits in the shop too!
