DIY Mini Watermelon Pendant

 Something Fun for Summer

I love the colors in watermelons - they are so happy!

A while back I was on a real watermelon kick. I made mini watermelon hangings, watermelon baskets, and a cute little pendant. Read the post all about them.

I'm feeling all water-melony again - and this time I decided to make a fiber art jewelry kit for you. You'll learn the art of coiled basketry on a miniature scale because you'll make a pendant instead of a basket.

You can make the cute little watermelon pendant without having to get in the car and go shopping because everything you need is in the kit.

Here's what you'll get

It's everything you need, with a little extra too.

Because I hate it when a kit has just barely enough of the yarn or whatever. I don't want that to happen to you.

  • macrame cord - 50 inches (127 cm)
  • 4 spools of silk thread - 3.2 feet each (10m)
  • thread
  • beading needle
  • beads
  • hemp jewelry cord - 6.5 feet (2m)
  • cotton bag
  • directions booklet
  • access to complete video tutorials

You'll also get a link to tutorials that guide you every step of the way

Here are the first three lessons.

The kit comes with a little booklet illustrating the basic techniques you'll use.

You can tuck everything into the cotton bag and maybe go somewhere nice to craft your pendant.
