Lucy Loom - Wood Loom for Beginners

The little wooden loom is “warped-up” and ready for its first project.

It has eight notches per inch- that means that the threads are wound eight per inch onto the loom. If you're weaving with thicker yarn, you can wind the threads at 4 per inch.

The weaving area is 4.5 x 6 inches

The loom is made from sustainable birch plywood - it's laser-cut, then I sand it and give it an oil finish using non-toxic Danish oil, followed up by finishing wax - it feels so good in your hand!

Here's what's inside:

• wood loom- 5 x 7 inches

• one wood dowel

• one wood weaving needle- 6 inches long

• three bodkin needles- 2-7/8 long

• a bag to carry it all in

(Some reviews refer to this loom as an acrylic loom - I used to make it with acrylic, but  I decided to stop using plastic.)

And if you need a little direction, check out my book, Little Loom Companion. It has all the basics for a beginning weaver and is small enough to toss in with your loom.
