Sustainable Shipping

Sustainable Shipping

I love our little earth.

watercolor painting of the earth

And want to keep it around for a while, so I try to follow sustainable practices as much as I can.

When I first began selling online,

I went down to Staples and bought the shipping materials I needed - including bubble wrap.

Bubble wrap is fun for popping out the bubbles, but any plastic is not good for our earth. So I decided to replace it with honeycomb-like  paper. It weighs a little more than the bubble wrap, and it costs a little more too, but it keeps your items safe, and is completely biodegradable so It think it's worth it.

You are worth it too! I want your order to be beautiful and fun to open.

Here's what I use:

  • recycled tissue paper
  • sustainably sourced wrapping paper - Ranpak
  • recycled cardboard shipping boxes

I don't buy any plastic materials, but you might see them in your package because I save the packing - plastic or paper- and use them in the orders I send out.

So when you receive your order please save the packaging and reuse it, too!

Barack Obama

Here's to a bright, creative, and happy future!
