Weave the World - Rainforest - Weaving Kit

rainforest mccaw

If you could be anywhere on earth right now, where would that be?

Do you long for the rich colors of the rainforest- lavish greenery, colorful wildlife, exotic flowers?

Colors like this make me happy, and how wonderful it would be to weave them up under a canopy of green.

You might not be able to get to the tropics, but you can weave up the colors whenever you are. And there are no mosquitos in this kit.

That's the beauty of this little weaving kit. You can slip it into your purse or backpack, and you're ready to weave any time, even if you're not high up in the rainforest canopy.

This little loom kit features the Annie Loom, and it's all strung up and ready to weave.

Are you a beginner just learning to weave?

No worries because the kit comes with a free download of my eBook My Little Loom Companion.

You can also purchase a hard copy of the book here.

2   wooden dowels

1   wood tapestry needle

2  steel tapestry needles

2  steel bent weaver's needles

1  100% cotton canvas tote bag- 15 x 15 inches - bottom gusset

18 balls of 85% wool, 15% mohair yarn- 21 yds each-20m

2  balls of 100% wool, bulky yarn- 10.9 yds each-10m

The loom has 8 notches per inch, we call that 8-dent. You can weave finer details on this loom than on the  Lucy Loom, which has 4 dents per inch.

All of the wood items are made with sustainable birch. The wool comes from Brown Sheep Yarn a family-owned business in Nebraska.

You can also get Colors of the Woodlands as mini-skeins. Click here to see the mini version.
